i:scintilla signs with alfa matrix!    [02.14.2006]

here's the press release:

Industrial-rock quartet i:scintilla has signed a worldwide label agreement with Belgium-based Alfa Matrix Label Group. The deal joins i:scintilla with an international electronic music family that includes Front 242, Collide, and Leaether Strip.

i:scintilla is currently writing and recording tracks for their first full-length release with Alfa Matrix. The tentatively untitled album is due for worldwide release in December 2006. In the meantime, Alfa Matrix plans a June 2006 release of an EP that will feature reworked versions of tracks from i:scintilla's self-released debut, The Approach. It will also contain full remixes of songs from their debut by several of electronic music's biggest names, including Combichrist, industrial pioneers Das Ich, and more.

In addition to their busy schedule preparing the Alfa Matrix releases, vocalist Brittany Bindrim was recently asked to record with long-time industrial innovators Die Warzau. The session produced three tracks that will most likely appear on Die Warzau's upcoming release, Supergangbang.
