Welcome to the “Skin Tight” Remix Contest!

After carefully listening to 64 submissions from talented musicians that covered 15 countries, these are the six finalists for the I:SCINTILLA “SKIN TIGHT” REMIX CONTEST. We appreciate the enormous talent contributed by all the artists and now it’s time to vote!

AND help a great charity (keep reading).

Rather than resort to a standard web-based voting mechanism, we felt it was best to use the power of music for good. For that reason, we hope that you can vote for your favorite remixes with small charitable donations instead of mouse clicks. Here is the info:

1) We’re asking you to choose your favorite remixes and purchase them here. Your purchases will be your votes. You can buy just one track or you can buy them all.

2) Each finalist track is available for immediate high quality download for the excellent price of $0.50USD each.

3) Any track can be purchased for any amount over $0.50USD. And we mean ANY amount ($1, $5, $20, $50 or more). The more you pay for a track, the more “votes” you’re sending its way.

4) This BandCamp release will only be available until FEBRUARY 26 at 11:59PM (CST). After that, the track that generates the most money will be the winner. The winning track will appear on I:Scintilla’s upcoming EP “Marrow 2″ and the winning artist will collaborate with the band on a new song.

5) All six tracks can be purchased as an “album” for $5.00USD (or more). The “album” purchase will not directly contribute “votes” to any one track, but it will help (see #6).

6) The kicker: ALL income from this contest will be donated to Amnesty International. We think this is a GREAT charitable organization and we would appreciate your help in supporting them. You can find out more about their work at http://www.amnesty.org/

7) We will be completely transparent with income statistics. We will provide period screenshot updates regarding the tracks’ incomes. We will provide a screenshot verification of the donation to Amnesty International after the contest is over. We have provided similar transparency in previous charitable endeavors and we hope we still have your trust here.

The next in our series of “Marrow” EP’s will be released in April. It will not be acoustic this time and, instead, will feature a collection of intense electro-club-rock songs and remixes. JBTV Taping
